Don Pedro Colley

Don Pedro Colley, an American actor, studied architecture at the University of Oregon before spending five years learning his craft in San Francisco theater productions. Born in Klamath Falls, Oregon, he appeared in 1960s and 1970s television Westerns such as The Wild Wild West, Iron Horse, Cimarron Strip, The Virginian, and Nichols. During the Blaxploitation era he acted opposite Fred Williamson, D'Urville Martin, and Gloria Hendry in The Legend of Nigger Charley (1972), Black Caesar (1973), and Sugar Hill (1974). He also made guest appearances on series including Night Gallery, Adam 12, The Streets of San Francisco, Ironside, and Little House on the Prairie. He was best known as Gideon on Daniel Boone, SRT in George Lucas's THX 1138 (1971), Ongaro in Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970), and Sheriff Ed Little on The Dukes of Hazzard.
