Dolores Faith

Biography

Dolores Faith was an American actress who first worked as a model and a dance instructor. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in Los Angeles in 1958. Warner Bros. gave her a screen test in 1959 but declined to hire her, deciding she looked too much like Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly. She was best remembered as Zetha, the mute girl in the science fiction film The Phantom Planet (1961), and for the low-budget science fiction pictures The Human Duplicators (1964) and Mutiny in Outer Space. Her dramatic roles included V.D. (1961), Wild Harvest and the war drama Shell Shock (1964). She appeared on television in Ripcord and The Man from U.N.C.L.E., whose two-part episode was released in theaters as One of Our Spies Is Missing. Life magazine featured her in 1963, and she died in 1990.
