Christopher Showerman

Christopher Showerman is an American actor of Dutch descent who began his screen career after studying music at Michigan State University. Born in Jackson, Michigan, on June 24, 1971, he grew up in Stockbridge and had small roles in studio features, including Starship Troopers (1997), before starring in Dumped (2000). His breakthrough arrived when Disney cast him as George in the direct-to-video sequel George of the Jungle 2 (2003), taking over the part from Brendan Fraser. He has worked in films such as Sea of Fear, Idol, Live Fast, Die Young, Complacent, Big Game, and Hole in One (2009). On television, his credits include Jack of All Trades, The OC, and CSI Miami. Showerman also wrote, directed, and produced Radio America, and in 2006 he formed Shorris Film with Clint Morris. That company's first picture, Between the Sand and the Sky, was a supernatural western.
