A role that slipped away
Reid and Christopher Martin were so angry about their NBC animated series being canceled that they let emotion override business and missed a major TV deal. That deal went to Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff and became The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
First role
Reid's voice-over career began in 2012 with the military shooter Spec Ops: The Line, where he plays Lieutenant Alphonso Adams, one of three soldiers sent into ruined Dubai to look into a signal from an MIA unit.
Behind the camera
Reid's most recent musical contribution has been the theme song for the HBO show Real Time with Bill Maher, which he wrote.
