Carmine Capobianco
Biography
Carmine Capobianco is a filmmaker and actor who began his career after meeting Gorman Bechard; together they raised funds for their debut low-budget feature, Disconnected (1983). He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, and studied photography, film and television at Western Connecticut State University. After a video feature, he and Bechard wrote and shot Psychos in Love (1987). Charles Band, later of Full Moon Entertainment, acquired the rights and arranged for their company, Generic Films, to produce four more movies. They completed Galactic Gigolo (1987) and Cemetery High (1988) before Band's company closed and Generic Films broke up. Capobianco then took small parts in a Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie, an MTV video, and ESPN commercials, worked on One Life to Live, hosted his own cable show to award-winning notice, and appeared in independent films like The White Car and Everything Moves Alone (2001).
