Brandon Rhea
Biography
Brandon Rhea is a German-born actor who has worked in Hong Kong and China. Born in Geislingen an der Steige, he first tried drama in a school play at seven. He began modeling in 1992 after agencies saw him in a Mr. Germany contest, and after an extra role on German television in 1994 he worked as an MC. His first action role came in 2000, followed by private acting lessons in 2001. In 2003 he traveled to Hong Kong at his own expense to audition for Michelle Yeoh's Silver Hawk (2004), winning the part of a hunter who fights her in the opening. He stayed to appear in Infernal Affairs 2 and Star Runner, and later played an arrogant German fighter opposite Jet Li in Ronny Yu's Fearless (2006), training with a fencing master and Yuen Woo-ping's action team.
