Alki David

Alki David is a Cypriot-British businessman who built internet companies and also worked in film production and acting. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria, into a family of Greek Cypriot origin, and he attended high school in Switzerland before taking a film course at the Royal College of Art. In 1998 he co-founded Independent Models, a London modeling agency whose roster included Helena Christensen. In 2006 he partnered with the veteran producer Elliott Kastner to launch 111 Pictures Ltd., a British independent production and international sales company, and that same year he started the streaming service FilmOn. He acted as well, appearing in The Bank Job (2008) as a tunneling expert recruited by Jason Statham to help rob a bank. In 2015 he began working with the rapper Chief Keef, who signed a record deal with him and FilmOn, though the partnership ended that year after disputes with the rapper's management.
