Alex Etel
Biography
Alex Etel is an English former actor who got his start as a child, playing the lead in Danny Boyle's family film Millions (2004) as Damian Cunningham. He took the starring role again in his second film, The Water Horse (2007), and played Harry Gregson in the five-part adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell's Cranford, broadcast in 2007, a role he returned to in the two-part Return to Cranford. In 2009 he appeared in From Time to Time (2009), Julian Fellowes' version of a children's ghost story, The Chimneys of Green Knowe, with Maggie Smith, Dominic West, Timothy Spall and Hugh Bonneville. He was born in 1994 in Manchester, and his official website said in 2016 that his acting career was on hold while he attended university.
