Adrian Morris
Biography
Adrian Morris was an American stage and film actor. Born in Mount Vernon, New York, into a family of stage performers, he began as a child in the family vaudeville act. He moved to Hollywood in 1929 and made his first, uncredited screen appearance in Frank Capra's Dirigible in 1931. Over a ten-year career, he appeared in more than 70 films, usually as a character actor in small, often uncredited parts, playing hoodlums, cowboys, and policemen. His notable credits included Me and My Gal (1932), The Petrified Forest (1936), Angels with Dirty Faces (1938), You and Me (1938), Gone With the Wind (1939), The Grapes of Wrath (1940), and Blood and Sand (1941). He was also a sidekick in serials such as The Fighting Marines. He died in 1941.
