Plot summary
While the world is caught up in Easy Rider bikes, Elvis Presley, beatnik poets and counterculture, a boy from Bahia gives birth to rock in Brazil. He is Raul Seixas, and the documentary sets out his trajectory using rare archive images and conversations with relatives, artists, producers and friends. Archive footage brings the artist himself into that story. Its material takes in rock n' roll and free love, the alternative society, drugs and black magic, along with the military dictatorship of the period, women and daughters. He wants to live from his own work, and to the thousands of fans around him he becomes a myth.
