Plot summary
OneTaste, the company Nicole Daedone starts in the early 2000s, is built on orgasmic meditation: one person stimulates another's clitoris for fifteen minutes while both keep their attention on the sensation. It is marketed as a path to sexual well-being and emotional healing, and people struggling with loneliness and disconnection find community there. A 2018 Bloomberg Businessweek article raises questions about the business, including allegations of financial exploitation and manipulation. Former participants say they were pushed into sexual acts that brought money to the company, and the article prompts an FBI investigation. Journals allegedly written by Autymn Blanck about her sister Ayries Blanck describe coercion and abuse by OneTaste staff.

- Fourteen former OneTaste members sued Netflix on November 2, 2022 to block the documentary's release, saying a former employee had "misappropriated" much of its footage; nearly 500 people signed a petition backing them. The judge denied the motion, and the plaintiffs withdrew the suit on November 7 after the film was released with their faces blurred or out of frame.
