Plot summary
Sally Kelton is a young woman whose parents' treatment of her leaves her feeling stifled. A piano player traveling through town catches her attention, and she leaves her home town to go after him. He, however, has his own plan: to move on and chase the career he wants. Left on her own, Sally learns that she is expecting a baby, and she must decide what to do about the child. The owner of the gas station where she works has fallen in love with her.

- A few days after shooting started, Clifton suffered a heart attack. Lupino, who co-wrote and co-produced the film, stepped in to direct it without taking credit; it was the last film Clifton worked on, and two films of his would be released after his death on October 15, 1949.
