Plot summary
Won-il was once as promising a swimmer as his father, a champion. When his father dies at a competition and his mother dies soon after, Won-il turns away from the sport and lives carelessly. Facing expulsion, he is taken by his father's friend Jae-suk to a high school centered on physical education. There he meets Woo-sang, the rival he used to beat. With Won-il out of the sport, Woo-sang has become a national star, until trouble at the national tryouts leaves him disqualified and starting over at the same school. Woo-sang is stiff and cares only about winning, so he resents Won-il's return. Jae-suk's daughter Jung-eun, who grew up with both of them, draws their attention, and the two train for a coming competition.
