Plot summary
The Equestria Girls head to the Starswirled Music Festival for two days of live music. Sunset Shimmer and Pinkie Pie are the most eager of the group, since the pop duo PostCrush, singer and guitarist Kiwi Lollipop and drummer Supernova Zap, are playing a reunion show. Across the first day, Sunset puts up with small irritations, many of them caused by Pinkie's short attention span. After Pinkie wrecks a churro vendor's cart, the two are ejected from the grounds, and Sunset refuses Pinkie's apology. On a hilltop overlooking the site, Sunset is caught in a burst of magical energy. She wakes the next morning to find the first day of the festival starting over.
