Plot summary

Anu and her sister Pooja are riding in a car with their mother when it leaves the road. Anu dies as the vehicle slides into a valley, and her mother loses her legs trying to reach her. Fifteen years later, Pooja, an archaeology student, sets out for Dhanori with two friends, Raghu and Sameer, to look for gold in an ancient temple, the work her mother had started before the crash. On the road they come across Ganu and Phulwa, a couple who have run away. The village they reach has weak network and few facilities. A policeman named Pandu tells them to seek the village head's consent, and Balasaheb agrees, though he warns that the jungle is haunted.
