Mulshi Pattern (2018) on Netflix

Plot summary

Sakha Patil was head of his village in Mulshi, where developers including Shinde bought farmland for large sums and built MIDC and IT parks. The money did not last, and many villagers now live poorly and take odd jobs. Shinde also took Sakha's ancestral house, so the family settled elsewhere, and Sakha works as a guard for Shinde. His son Rahul holds his father responsible for their troubles and will not take up work. In Pune, where the family has moved to labor, Rahul becomes friends with Ganya and loves Dipali, whose father heads the laborers. When a contractor mistreats his father, Rahul attacks him and ends up in jail, where the gangster Nanya Bhai, who recruits young men and pushes villagers to sell their land, offers him work.
