Plot summary
Durga has spent thirteen years as a middle-class housewife, living with her husband, her in-laws and her school-going son, her time as an undercover agent behind her. Rangeela, who leads a special force, is hunting a killer known as the Common Man, who targets strong, independent professional women and has a team watching the force's movements. Rangeela finds Durga and asks her to go undercover and uncover the killer's identity. She refuses, since her cover has become her life, then agrees, though Rangeela denies her a refresher course for fear of moles. Between household duties she chases a packet handover at Victoria Memorial, and she enrolls in a college course that her husband forbids and her mother-in-law defends.
