Plot summary
Lin Shuwei is a quiet straight-A student with no friends, and his classmates make his life miserable. When the class funds go missing, he takes the blame at his teacher's urging and is sent to feed elderly residents alongside the three boys who bully him most: Tuan Renhao, Liao Kuoheng and Yeh Weichu. The work pulls him into their company, and he joins in their abuse of the residents to win their approval. A locked box they find while delivering food to a confused war veteran brings them back that night, where they interrupt two flesh-eating ghouls feeding on a resident. The older ghoul flees down an elevator shaft. The younger is struck by a car, knocked out with a shovel and carried to the school, where the boys chain her to a pillar.
