Maidens of the Sea (2015) on Netflix

Plot summary

Mack O'Neil is a solitary sailor who cannot forget Kai, the love he lost, and he sails to a mysterious island she once spoke of. At the cliffs a fleeting woman appears and is gone before he can learn her name. At an inn, Marlee tells him the stranger is called Liz, and Mack decides to stay a few days. Donald, a cryptic man he meets, warns that the island is no longer open and refuses to explain. A siren's cry interrupts a meeting with Liz by the water, and something that looks like a mermaid's tail lies on the shore. Cries wake Mack at night, and Marlee says they are his imagination.
