Plot summary
Lea and Luis are alpacas who live on Farmer Hector's farm in Peru with Yma, a girl, and her dog Pablo. Hector brings the animals a surprise: a new alpaca named Leo, and Leo needs time to get used to the farm and to the residents he finds there. Luis has a birthday coming, and Lea wants to give him a big party, with Leo helping her plan it. The preparations run into trouble, and it begins to look as if the party will not happen. The story also deals with a newcomer's place in a group, jealousy, illness, a sleepless night and staying friends.
