Plot summary
Janne Mikael Syväjärvi lives in Lapland, in northern Finland, and has made a way of life out of welfare. Inari Juntura, his girlfriend, is tired of his inability to get a grip, especially since he never bought the digital TV box she gave him money for. Her ultimatum is simple: the box must reach home by morning, or she will go. Janne has already missed closing time at the local store, so he arranges to meet Inari's father, who owns an electronics shop in Rovaniemi, hundreds of kilometers away. He heads into the night with Kapu and Tapio, and the road toward Rovaniemi brings obstacles and temptations.
