Plot summary
Jesse Huston asks the explorer Allan Quatermain to find her father, Professor Jediah Huston, who went missing while searching for the mines of King Solomon. Quatermain takes the job and travels into the African interior with his companion Umbopo, following a map into country he does not know, where hostile tribes and dangerous creatures block the way. The professor is a prisoner of a German military party that wants the mines for itself and needs what he knows about them. Colonel Bockner commands that party, with Dogati, a Turkish slave trader and an old adversary of Quatermain's, at his side.
