Plot summary
Jack Hunter is abducted blindfolded and taken to a US base in Turkey, where the NSA recruits him to recover the other part of the ancient Osiris-weapon. He is told that his mentor was killed because the Russian mobster Doridanov, the employer of Albert Littmann, is after the same weapon. Jack accepts and travels to Gizeh, where the archaeologist Lena Halstrom has found a lead on a site that men in mythological dress attacked. Said, the Egyptian in charge there, has closed the site until further notice. Along the way he also runs into dangerous old adversaries and old flames.
