It Came from Somewhere Else (1988) on Netflix

Plot summary

Grand Bosh lies near the Canadian border, a small town whose residents find themselves sharing it with kung fu aliens from space. Alongside the arrivals come strange occurrences: townspeople catch fire where they stand, and body parts are found growing in the fields farmers work. Sheriff Ed Munchinson is bewildered by the reports, and Deputy Don serves with him. Others drawn into the confusion include Doc Savel, Mayor Shrank, Wendell Shrank, Mr. Buckner and Joe Drunk. A group of high school students in Grand Bosh believes it can rescue the town, yet none of them grasps the force they are up against.
