Plot summary
Jonathan Blow describes the flaws and vulnerabilities he put into Braid and how his design experience turned from experimentation to discovery. Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes, the team behind Super Meat Boy, set out to make a platform game recalling the ones they grew up with; McMillen speaks about his goal of communicating with others through his work and about Aether, which holds the loneliness, nervousness and fear of abandonment of his childhood. Phil Fish is in the fourth year of Fez, which was first announced at the Independent Games Festival in 2008 and brought him attention as an independent developer. Little has been heard of the game since, and his perfectionism has stretched the development out; Fez has become his identity.
