Plot summary

Bea is an architect in Barcelona who lives with Víctor, her boyfriend and the head of the firm where she works. She has designed a skyscraper, and a contract for it is signed. At the celebration that night, a television reporter, Rebecca Ramos, appears, and Bea, who has been drinking, brings her over to Víctor. The next morning he proposes and she accepts. At the office she learns that a video showing Víctor and Rebecca together is on every channel. Bea slaps him, destroys her design in front of the company heads, and is fired. She goes back to Santa Clara, the coastal town where she grew up, and finds that her mother Ángela has gathered the family to celebrate her visit.
