Plot summary
Chi-ho works as a pastry researcher, and his highly developed sense of taste shapes everything about his days. Snacks and confectionery are the center of a routine he keeps under tight control. Il-young is different: she works at a call center screening loans and meets everything with optimism and directness. When she comes into his life, she brings him flavors and experiences that fall outside his usual habits. Around them are people who push at his order in their own ways: Seok-ho, his brother, who is carefree and shameless; Byung-hoon, the self-absorbed head of the pastry company where Chi-ho works; and the unpredictable, passionate Eun-sook. Their company keeps unsettling the careful arrangements Chi-ho has built for himself.
