Plot summary
Takemoto, Mayama, Morita and Ayumi attend an art college in Japan, where Professor Hanamoto is their teacher. Takemoto is a shy architecture student, Ayumi a pensive ceramics student, Mayama a hardworking senior, and Morita a super-senior artistic madman. Hagumi arrives at the school, the daughter of Hanamoto's cousin and an artistic prodigy, and she befriends the group. Takemoto falls in love with her right away. Hanamoto suspects Hagumi may open her heart to Morita sooner, which leaves Takemoto to decide whether to yield to Morita or keep trying for her. Ayumi pursues Mayama, who looks past her because he is in love with his boss, a widow much older than he is.
