Plot summary
Jang Mun-ho and Kang Seon-yeong are days from their wedding when they pull off a highway for coffee on the way to his parents' home. When Mun-ho returns to the car, she is gone, and her phone does not answer. The only trace at the rest stop is a hairpin in the toilet. In Seoul, her flat looks as though someone broke in. Mun-ho asks his cousin Kim Jong-geun, a former police detective dismissed for taking bribes, for help. Jong-geun finds no fingerprints in the flat and no friends who knew her. A banker friend tells Mun-ho that a bank had refused Seon-yeong an account.
