Plot summary
The planet was devastated by nuclear war, and decades later the survivors live as scavengers. Glen and Randa are teenagers in a rural tribe, and their people know nothing of the world beyond their own. Glen has old comic books, where he read about a great city and saw pictures of it. He and Randa leave the tribe to look for that city.
