Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Get a Clue (2002)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Get a Clue was written by Alana Sanko, and the script was still unfinished by the time filming had begun, so the production started work without a completed screenplay.
SPOILER
A well-concealed reshoot in late 2001 changed the ending so that the villain turned out to be Meany. In the original ending it was Mrs. Stern, a teacher at Lexy's school, and the DVD kept that version too: at the 61-minute mark viewers can choose it, shown in a different aspect ratio.- A song by the Canadian band Prozzäk, "Get a Clue", appears in the film. For the music video the band's name was changed to "Simon and Milo", the characters depicted in it, so that their real band name would not be associated with drugs.
