Plot summary
Born in China in 1995, during the one-child policy, sisters Yun and Mei are raised in secret and trained in martial arts; their parents hide Mei's existence to protect her. In the present day, Mei travels to Rome to find Yun. In the Esquilino neighborhood she reaches the restaurant La città proibita, run by Wang, where prostitution and illegal dealings go on, and fights Wang's men while asking about her sister. She learns only that Yun is gone and may be linked to Alfredo, who owns a trattoria in the neighborhood. Mei goes to the trattoria Da Alfredo and attacks Marcello, who runs it with his mother since his father disappeared. Marcello insists he knows nothing about Alfredo.
