Fierce (2020) on Netflix

Plot summary

Music Race is a talent show that auditions singers around the country, and three jurors decide who moves ahead: Olo Zawistowski, a once-popular singer, Ewa Dykty, who rules social media, and a dame of Polish jazz. At an audition in Olo's home town, Marta Ostrowicz, known as Ostra, starts a row, outraged at the jurors' arrogant and dismissive behavior toward her mother, Małgosia. The producer likes the scandal and pushes the rebellious teenager through to the next stage, where she shows a great voice to go with her fiery temper. Success brings money, fame and crowds of fans, and Marta faces the competition, the traps of show business and her own feelings.
