Plot summary
Michi Kazato attends a Catholic all-girls school where Aya Tsukimori is the most popular student. Aya shuts herself inside her room, and Kasumi Nohara, a girl who admires her, kisses a photograph of Aya at midnight and disappears, with Michi watching. Word goes around that a curse strikes any girl who kisses the picture of the person she admires at midnight. Students report ghost sightings at the school, and several go missing. Michi begins looking into what has happened to her classmates, while Aya, unable to leave her dormitory, tries to communicate with her. Sakuya Itsuki and Risa carry the photograph up to the attic to keep it safe, and other girls are drawn to kiss it.
