Plot summary
Peter Short is the head of a large Australian company. He is diagnosed with esophageal cancer and learns that he has only months to live. The illness is terminal, and he does not want a painful death. He decides to source Nembutal, a lethal drug, so that he can end his life peacefully when he chooses. With the help of a doctor who gives the drug to suffering patients, Peter sets out to have voluntary euthanasia legalized in Australia.
