Plot summary
Shankar dreams of seeing his son Amar become a lawyer, and Amar grows up set on that. He loves Anitha, his childhood girlfriend, and when she rejects his advances he becomes a different man and his prospects dim. Years later Amar is an alcoholic lawyer working for the criminal lawyer CH Vishwanath, and he meets Swati, a junior lawyer in the office who is Vishwanath's daughter. Anitha had left him without giving him any reason.
