Plot summary
Barry is an earthworm, and earthworms sit at the bottom of the food chain, where respect is hard to come by. An old disco record he finds stirs his interest in music, and he decides his destiny is to lead the greatest disco band ever, Sunshine Barry & The Disco Worms. He has no arms, no sense of rhythm and no band. His friend Tito and Gloria join him anyway, and the group sets out to prove that earthworms can boogie, practicing for a shot at the top. Their archnemesis is Tonni Dennis, and the band has to outdo him.
