Plot summary
Warren Price, whose father is a millionaire, comes to Una-Una in the Gulf of Tomini with the Japanese scientist Rie and his girlfriend Su-Ling to look inside an old Japanese military bunker. A group of mercenaries, Captain Tino Prawa, Djoko, Ario and Sergeant Papa Snake, guards the trip, and Stanley, once a military engineer, goes along. The bunker sits in a Dutch mine the Japanese seized in 1942. Pirates attack them, and a grenade hurts Ario and brings down the tunnel, leaving the group unable to call for help and hunting for another way out. Price has his own aim: Yamashita's gold, which he and Rie have traced through decoded messages from a bunker his father's company explored.
