Plot summary
Basil Mironer is a filmmaker who lives in Los Angeles. A mysterious message on Facebook draws him to Moscow, where a piece of his family's past has been hidden from him. He travels there to learn what it is, and the search raises the question of what the truth could cost the relatives he cares about. The answers he is after and his family ties pull in different directions, and he has to decide how far into the past he is willing to go.
