Plot summary
Harry, the sheriff of a small town on the border, lives at an abandoned silver mine with his girlfriend Cherry, an English nurse. Raquel, a blonde writer, takes local men to bed for her own pleasure. Cherry and Raquel are curious about each other, but Harry refuses to allow them to meet. Harry and Enrique, his Mexican-American partner, run marijuana over the border for the politician Mr. Franklin. Franklin tells Harry that their associate Apache has begun moving the drug on his own, and orders Harry to kill him. Harry pulls Enrique away from Raquel's bed and the two men drive into the desert to look for Apache.

- Charles Napier's nude scene with Larissa Ely, the two of them running in the desert, is the first instance of full frontal male nudity in a Russ Meyer picture. The appearance of a penis in a 1969 movie was still a novelty and was reported on by the Associated Press after the film became a hit.
- Roger Ebert claimed the De Luxe color lab inadvertently destroyed a fourth of Russ Meyer's footage after filming was finished, forcing Meyer to shoot new scenes, and that Meyer hired Uschi Digard to appear as an Indian and intercut her new footage with the existing material.
- Uschi Digard, who went on to make frequent appearances in Russ Meyer's films, was cast as the naked muse of the Apache character, shown in cut scenes usually wearing only an Apache headdress. The device was invented after the lead actress left the shoot early and 20 minutes of footage were needed to finish the film.
