Plot summary
Half a year after the 1979 revolution, news arrives that forces of Komalah and the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan plan to fight the revolutionary forces and take a city in the Kordestan region, which anti-revolutionary forces have besieged. Ayatollah Khomeini orders Mostafa Chamran to the area to clear the city of Kurdish forces, and gives him 48 hours. Chamran is a doctor educated in America and an expert in guerrilla warfare, and he became Iran's first post-revolutionary defense minister. The task falls on August 16 and 17, 1979. Asghar Vesali and the people of Paveh, a city in Kermanshah province, are also part of the story.
