Boy of Two Worlds (1959) on Netflix

Plot summary

Paw has no one left. His father was Danish, his mother came from the Caribbean, and both died when he was born. A friend of his father brings him to Denmark and leaves him with Bo, an aunt he has never met, a woman whose household has so far been given over to her canaries. Village life is unlike anything Paw knows, and one culture shock follows another. Because of his mother's origin he is turned away, so he leaves the house and takes to a nearby forest. There he meets Anders, a Swedish poacher, and the two form a close bond.
