Plot summary
Tall Grass Country Club is preparing for a nationally televised golf tournament when two teenagers camping in a field near the course are killed by an unseen force. Their bodies are found the next morning, and later that day club member Malcolm Simpkins is killed near the same hole. Owner Norman Osgood wants the deaths kept quiet. Roy Kent, the club's newest professional, is a former celebrity player who choked in a big tournament years ago and has had alcohol problems since, and he looks into the deaths himself. Assistant professional Kelly Lange wants the tournament canceled.
