Birds Like Us (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

Birdabad's birds live in fear of the Horror, and they accept Kondor's rule as the price of their safety. Every day they gather around the Egguilibrium mechanism, tended by the silent owl Hasan, and trade the eggs they lay for fruit. Hupu, Hasan's wife, will not accept that bargain. She wants to keep her own egg, and with a magical seed she sets herself against Kondor and the system he runs. The chase that answers her defiance drives Hupu, Hasan, Kondor and a small chick named Mi out of Birdabad and into the open. Cut off from home, the four fall in with a strange guide who offers to lead them back if they first help him reach the Sun.
