Big Man Japan (2007) on Netflix

Plot summary

Masaru Daisatou inherits an ability that runs in his family: when high voltage electricity is applied to him, he grows to roughly thirty meters in height. Both his father and his grandfather served as monster fighters before him, and he works for the Ministry of Monster Prevention. Cameras carry his battles on television, where the ratings depend on the event and his fellow citizens mock him while he struggles to live up to a lineage that overshadows his own record. An agent wants to brand him with ads. His grandfather has Alzheimer's, his family is embarrassed by him, and he is estranged from his wife and child.
