Plot summary
Kevin and Holly Ryan paddle out to film dolphins near St. Augustine, Florida. A boat knocks them into the water, and a dolphin pulls Holly to safety. Their father, Bob, grounds them. Holly thinks a dolphin is in trouble, so their mother, Abby, takes them out on her boat, and Holly sees one is missing. The siblings hang missing posters and find the animal at Marineland, sunburned. They name him Bernie and want to reunite him with his family. Bob's boss, Winston Mills, plans an ocean park on land owned by Bob's friend Luke Lawson and offers Bob a promotion.
