Plot summary
An old journal comes into the hands of Eddie Fox, a hustling treasure hunter. Read alongside a compass he inherited when he was a boy, it points him toward an ancient Hawaiian secret that has been lost for generations: a powerful staff believed to hold a force capable of destroying the island. Charles Wellington, a power hungry egomaniac, is a greedy rival of Eddie's, and he is set on securing that force for himself. To keep the weapon out of his hands, Eddie is forced into the jungle, and the two men then chase each other through the wild Hawaiian rainforest.
