- Rachid Bouchareb first planned Belleville Cop in 2011 as the opening film of an "American trilogy" about US-Arab relations, a buddy movie meant to star Jamel Debbouze and Queen Latifah. Instead the first of the three became the TV movie Just like a Woman, with Sienna Miller and Golshifteh Farahani.
