Plot summary

A spacecraft enters the atmosphere and plunges toward the Atlantic Ocean, and television screens around the world carry confirmation that alien life exists. Greg Baker, a young paramedic, enlists to fight the invaders. He serves as the medic for a Special Forces squad, which flies a classified package by helicopter across territory held by the enemy. The squad goes down with the chopper and is left surrounded and outnumbered. Greg wants to get back to his wife, and nightmares trouble him.
