Plot summary
Sundar grew up in an orthodox Brahmin household and has wanted to travel to the United States since a con man took his money as a child with the promise of a part in a Chiranjeevi movie. He now works at an advertising agency, where he persuades his colleague Soumya to hand over her U.S. work trip. His reason is Leela Thomas, a Christian commercial photographer and his childhood sweetheart. The two intend to marry, and both expect their conservative families to oppose an interfaith match, so while in the U.S. they work out false reasons that would oblige the parents to agree. Sundar tells his parents that he cannot father a child and that Leela will still have him, while Leela tells hers that she is pregnant with Sundar's child.
